There are visas like the Elita visa, the smarts visas or LTR visas but sometimes, it is hard to qualify. Do note that the Elite visa will change in October 2023.

Whether you prefer a beachfront workspace or a cozy venue nestled amidst lush greenery, Bali has it all. Personally, I am worried that the government wants to limit the number of tourists in Bali but the island is wonderful. A one year visa will be easier in Indonesia than Thailand unless you have money to pay for services like the Elite visa.

Kuala Lumpur, the capital city, offers a diverse range of options, from trendy coworking spaces in bustling commercial areas to more relaxed spaces in quieter neighborhoods. This makes it an enticing destination for digital nomads looking to grow their professional network. Kuala Lumpur is not my favorite city but I love Penang and could see myself living there.
